interlude

~ all my tea ~  a store, pursuit of stories, art, music and love, brewed with a cup of tea... https://www.pinterest.com/yogita24/all-my-tea/ meddled with creepers, cobbled streets, warm doorways and charmingly aged shops adorned walkways of riddles and rhymes brewing cultures ...continuing the theme ... Tins. uniquely, Oriental wall of colours &... of pots and cups... setting for a ceremony like a ritual... house of flavours noted! ~ store of flavours & stories ~

Fallen from the sky, suspended mid-air...holding universe, a tiny droplet of sunshine... neither part of the day nor of the night, truly mysterious and sublime... Someone once said, desire and pain were born together, held by the hands of faith, thrust by the winds of hope... Spent in such abode is the reality of happiness and of sorrow... In middle of everything, in between earth and sky...

~ set in the grains of an old paper are the tales of times we can only imagine...times where mystics and myths were being compounded and breathed...The charm of its fragrance is poetic and poignant, reminding of the love and hardships it has experienced, how it has been cherished and then desolated... Reliving the marks of a paper, i realized that each fold had an impact on how I perceived the words squandered on it...and thus the texture started to speak...it's touch against the tip of fingers started unveiling an entirely different story....thus explorations began...sometimes with a fresh sheet, replicating the turmoils of an old paper....sometimes with old ones...trying to understand their destiny...as they unfolded mine!

Exploration done in MDF. My first ever work with power tools. Interesting and time taking, and totally worth it. Out of the few products I made during the workshop, here is light display fixture serving as a column and a focal point for a high end light fixture store.   -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
